Today felt better & my official journal arrives

First and foremost, when I spoke to my wife today, everything seemed to be better with her. That feeling passed to me within seconds and I felt so much relief and comfort in her words. She truly is the most amazing and strong person walking this earth. I can always sleep better knowing that she is there for me and will be able to se me through these tough times.

We also had a slightly extended evening “dayroom” session out of our cells which is always a welcomed event. And the icing on the cake for me was receiving a few of the books I had originally been told were being denied. Three of the four books were allowed to be delivered to me and one of those was a random “trucker’s mileage log book” that she didn’t even order. Somehow, maybe by the grace of God, this log book has about 120 weeks of pages that are simply lines for each trip. I’ve converted that into a weekly journal as I have just at 109 total weeks of my sentence. I will track each of the weeks and recall any important things that take place while I’m incarcerated. Hopefully this can help others in the future, but I know it will help me process everything that is taking place and what I’m looking at in the future.
