I met a few of the guys in the pod today and we played some table games, mostly cards. I did learn to play chess and dominos and then we went down to the gym and played ping pong for a bit. I can’t wait until I get actual tennis shoes so that I can run around. At least then I’d be able to play basketball and maybe soccer.
I enjoyed my second day of work and I’m starting to feel a little bit more comfortable here. My new bunk mate is pretty quiet but nice enough. My wife is sick right now but I feel like I was able to make her day a little bit brighter because I talked to her for almost an hour.
