I hope that I am the right amount of excited and anxious to be getting out of this place. I hate that we have to cuff-up again but I hear that it was only because we are on the same transport as people who are medium or max level custody. Wearing the cuffs around your ankles and strapped around your waist is so demeaning and I doubt that it has ever been necessary, but rules are rules, I suppose. I had a couple books that sadly I will not be able to finish, but hopefully the selection of books will be much better where I’m going.
I’m heading to Larned State Correctional Facility. We’ll see how this is, but I had not even heard of Larned before today. Hopefully that’s a good sign.
