Recent Reading and Status Update

Well…, still no new mattress. I really don’t understand bothering to tell us something like this ahead of time when you can’t make sure that it happens. Who in their right mind would do something to piss off a bunch of criminals all in one place? Must just be how things are done here in KDOC.

I’m really lucky to have gotten a few really good books lately. I read “Atomic Habits” and was inspired to make sure I continue this journal and to make some major changes in my life when given the chance. On a lighter side, I’ve gotten in to a few fiction books, one of which I enjoyed a lot. “Close Encounters” is a sci-fi romance/action story and I got hooked early on. Reading has become so much easier for me now. It’s relaxing and it puts my mind at ease. Along with meditation, reading has been the best tool for easing my anxiety and stress.

Sometimes I worry about my bunkie. He seems to be suffering from a number of issues, the least of which is schizophrenia and maybe some form of tourrett syndrome. At the very least I can sense a bit of bipolar. The conversations we have and that he has with himself are often very strange and the stories he tells are always involving conspiracies and law enforcement/judicial individuals.
